OBITUARY.

News was received on Monday of the death of Mrs. Jane Owens, of Osmond Lane, who left here a fortnight ago for a short holiday to Liverpool, where she died suddenly.

Mrs. Owens was about sixty-five years of age and had three sons serving their country – one killed, the second a prisoner of war, and the other son, who voulunteered from Australia, is now serving in France.

Much sympathy is felt with the children in their bereavement.
