Hugh Griffith, Hendu, Aberdaron, Farmer : Will 1847.
I Hugh Griffith of Hendu in the Parish of Aberdaron in the County of Carnarvon, Farmer being weak in body but of sound mind memory and understanding doth make publish and declare this my last Will and Testament in manner and form following (that is to say)I do give and bequeath all the stock of the said Hendu, Chattle and Cattle paper or paper bond or bonds or whatever happen to be in my possesion or due to me at the time of my death and all my Credit and Effects unto my Niece in law, Elizabeth Roberts of Tynymur Parish of Llangian in the said County of Carnarvon and my Will is that the said Elizabeth Roberts to be my Sole Executrix and Residuary legatee of this my last Will and Testament this is to revoking every other Will or Wills by me heretofore made as witness my hand and seal this 10th day of May 1847.
Signed sealed and declared by the said Testator Hugh Griffith whom in the presence and at his request and in the presence of each other have subscribed our names as witnesses the day and year above written.

On the 28th day of July in the year of our Lord 1847 the within written Will was insinuated, proved, approved and in common form of law decreed valid, and Administration granted to the within named Executrix Elizabeth Roberts she being first sworn in common form of law, and that the whole of the Goods, Chattels and Credits of the said deceased do not amount in value to £200.

A true and perfect Inventory credit and effect of the late Hugh Griffith Hendu in the Parish of Aberdaron in the County of Carnarvon and Diocese of Bangor deceased made and appraised by us this 21st day of June 1847.
