John Roberts, Monachdy, Tudweiliog, Farmer : Will 1847.
I John Roberts of Monachdy in the parish of Tydweiliog in the County of Carnarvon, Farmer. Do this Twentieth day of October one thousand eight hundred and forty two make and publish this my last Will and Testament in manner and form following that is to say all my worldly goods whatsoever and wheresoever after payment of my just debts funeral expenses and the expenses of proving this my will.I do hereby bequeath and devise the same unto my beloved daughter Mary Jones her heirs executors administrators and assigns for ever.
I do hereby give bequeath and devise unto my beloved daughter Ellen Jones the wife of John Daniel the sum of Forty Pounds of Lawful Money of Great Britain to be paid by the aforesaid Mary Jones.
And I do hereby constitute and appoint the said Mary Jones my daughter to be my Sole Executrix of this my last Will hereby revoking all other Wills and Testaments by me at any time heretofore made. In witness whereof I have set my hand and seal the day and year first above written.

On the 13th day of May in the year of our Lord 1847 the above written will was insinuated proved approved and in common for of Law decreed valid and Administration granted to the within named Mary Jones, Sole Executrix, she being first sworn in common form of Law, and that the whole of the Goods, Chattels and Credits of the said deceased do not amount in value to the sum of Two hundred pounds.
Before me William Williams Surrogate.
The Testator died on the 20th day of December 1846.
A true and perfect Inventory of all and every the goods cattels and chattels belonging to the late John Roberts of Monachdy in the Parish of Tydweiliog in the County of Carnarvon in the Diocese of Bangor, Farmer, deceased, made by us whose names are hereunto subscribed, the fourth day of May in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and forty seven.
