MRS. KATE JONES, PENRHOS, RHOSFAWR.

We regret to announce the death, at the age of 55, of Mrs. Kate Jones, Penrhos, Rhosfawr, which occurred on Monday week after a long illness.

The funeral took place on Wednesday week at Tyddynshon. The very large concourse of people assembled from the district and beyond bore eloquent testimony to the profound respect and affection in which Mrs, Jones was held.

The service was taken by the minister, the Revs. A. J. George, Tyddynshon and the Revs. Alwyn Thomas, Penmaenmawr; R. H. Jarvis, Talsarnau; W. O. Roberts, Fourcrosses; and Mr. Robert Williams, Towyn.

Mrs. Jones was the daughter of Mr and Mrs Edward Williams, of Muriau Gwyddyl, Llandecwyn, Talsarnau. She came to Rhosfawr on the occasion of her marriage 28 years ago. She was a member of Penuel.
