Rev Evan Rees, Rector of Rhiw : Will 1811.
In the name of God Amen.I Evann Rees, Rector of Rhiw in the County of Carnarvon being of sound disposing mind, memory and understanding, do make, publish and declare this as and for my last Will and Testament in manner following.
That is to say :
In the first place I Will and direct that all my just debts and funeral expenses be paid for by my Executor herein after names.
I give and bequeath into my son Thomas Rice, my chest of drawers.
Also I give and bequeath unto my son David Rice the sum of Ten Pounds of lawful money of Great Britain.
I give and bequeath unto my son Theophilus Rice the sum of Ten Pounds.
I give and bequeath unto my son Samuel Rice the sum of one hundred pounds, in trust to be laid out to the best advantage for the use of my daughter, Margaret and the interest arising therefrom be paid to her yearly and every year during her natural life, and after her decease, I give and bequeath the said sum of one hundred pounds to her children, namely Elizabeth and Mary and the child she now goeth with, when they shall attain the age of eighteen years and if in case any or either of her children afore mentioned should happen to die before they attain the age of eighteen years the survivor or survivors shall be his of their Executors.
I give and bequeath unto my third son Samuel the sum of one hundred pounds in trust, to be laid out to the best advantage for the use of my daughter Anne, and interest arising therefrom be paid to her yearly and every year during her natural life, and after her decease I give and bequeath the said sum of one hundred pounds to her children share and share alike, namely Anne, David and Evan when they attain the age of eighteen years, and if in case any or either of her children afore mentioned should happen to die before attaining the age of eighteen years, then the survivor or survivors shall be his or their Executor.
I give and bequeath unto my daughter Martha the sum of thirty pounds which sum of thirty pounds her Husband John Thomas owes to me at this present time.
Also I give and bequeath unto my aforesaid daughters Margaret, Anne and Martha all my Household Furniture of every description to be divided share and share alike between them.
Lastly, all the rest and reidue of my property of what kind soever I may be possessed of at the time of my decease, after paying the Legacies herein mentioned, I give and bequeath the same unto my son Thomas Rice whom I also nominate, constitute and appoint Sole Executor of this my last Will and Testament, and I do hereby revoke all former Wills by me at any time theretofore made and declare this to be my last Will and Testament only.
In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal the first day of November in the year of our Lord 1811.
Signed, sealed, published and declared by the said Evan Rees the Testator as and for his last Will and Testament in the presence of us who have subscribed our names as witnesses thereto at his request in his presence and in the presenceof each other.

On the 26th day of November 1811, the baove or within written Will was insinuated, proved, approved and in common form of Law decreed valid, and Administration granted to the above named Executor Thomas Rice; he being first sworn in common form of Law, and that the whole of the Goods, Chattels and Credits of the said deceased do not amount in value to £300.
