Owen Thomas, Gwynfryn, Llannor, Master Mariner : Will 1854.

This is the last Will and Testament of me Owen Thomas of Gwynfryn in the Parish of Llannor in the County of Carnarvon, Master Mariner.

I give and devise all of my real estate situate in the several Parishes of Bangor and Nevin or elsewhere in the County of Carnarvon and all other real estate which I may die possessed of or entitled to unto my dear wife Ellin Thomas, her heirs and assigns for ever.

I give and bequeath all my personal estate and effects of what nature or kind soever unto my said wife Ellin Thomas absolutely and I do hereby nominate constitute and appoint my said wife Ellin Thomas Sole Executrix of this my last Will and Testament hereby revoking and making void all former Will or Wills heretofore by me made and do declare this to be my last Will and Testament. In witness whereof I the said Owen Thomas the Testator have to this my last Will and Testament set my hand and seal this sixth day of November one thousand eight hundred and forty seven.

Signed sealed published and declared by the Testator Owen Thomas as and for his last Will and Testament in the presence of us who in his presence at his request and in the presence of each other have hereunto subscribed our names as witnesses.

On the third day of November in the year of our Lord 1854 the within written Will was insinuated proved approved and in common form of Law decreed valid and Administration granted to the above named Executrix, she being first sworn in common form of Law and that the whole of the Goods Chattels and Credits of the said deceased do not amount in value to £800.

The deceased died on the eighth day of April 1854.

A true and perfect Inventory of all and singular, the Goods Chattels Rights and Credits of the late Owen Thomas, formerly of Gwynfryn in the Parish of Llannor, now of Penymaes Pwllheli, Parish of Denio, County of Carnarvon, Diocese of Bangor, Master Mariner, deceased, made and appraised by us the undersigned (Gratis) as witness our hands this second day of November 1854.
