Griffith Prichard, Ty Du Llannor, Farmer : Will 1858.

In the Name of God Amen.

I Griffith Prichard of Ty du in the Parish of Llannor in the County of Carnarvon, Farmer, being in perfect sound disposing mind memory and understanding thank God Almighty for the same, do this 28th day of October, in the year of our Lord 1857, make publish and declare this my last Will and Testament in manner and form following, viz.

First I give and bequeath to my eldest sister Laura Jones wife of Owen Jones Bryntani, the sum of (£20) twenty pounds of lawful British Money.

Also I give and bequeath to my Niece Elizabeth Lewis daughter of my said sister Laura Jones the same sum of Twenty Pounds (£20) of lawful British Money.

Also I give and bequeath the same sum of Twenty Pounds (£20) to my eldest brother Owen Prichard of Ty bwlcyn.

Also I give and bequeath the sum of Twenty five Pounds (£25) of lawful British Money to my sister Elizabeth, wife of John Roberts, Smith Pentreuchaf.

Also I give and bequeath the said sum of Twenty five (£25) Pounds to my sister Mary, wife of Walter Evans Trawsgoed.

Also I give and bequeath the sum of Twenty five Pounds (£25) to my Niece Mary Owen, eldest daughter of my said sister Mary, wife of Walter Evans.

Also I give and bequeath the sum of one hundred and thirty five pounds of lawful British Money (£135) to my beloved wife Mary Prichard.

Also I give and bequeath all of the house furniture of every kind, the same I may be possessed of at the time of my decease to my beloved wife Mary Prichard and my brother William Prichard, Bryntani, share and share alike to each.

Lastly I nominate, constitute, appoint and ordain my dear brother William Prichard the Sole Executor of this my last Will and Testament and to whom I give and bequeath all the rest residue and remainder of all my property estate and effects the same I may be possessed of at the time of my decease, hereby revoking and making void every other Will or Wills heretofore by me made, declaring this and this only to be my last Will and Testament. In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal the day and year first before written.

Signed sealed published and declared by the said Testator Griffith Prichard as, and for his last Will and Testament in the presence of us, who in his presence and at his request, and in the presence of each other, have subscribed our names as witnesses.

On the eighth day of January in the year of our Lord 1858 the above Will was insinuated, proved, approved and in common form of Law decreed valid and Administration granted to the above named Executor. William Prichard, he being first sworn in common form of Law, and that the whole of the Goods, Chattels and Credits of the said deceased do not amount in value to four hundred and fifty pounds (£450).

The deceased died on the 31st day of October 1857.
Probate granted 8th of January 1858.
