Hugh Williams, Sychnant, Llannor, Farmer : Will 1857.

In the Name of God Amen.

I Hugh Williams of Sychnant in the Parish of Llannor in the County of Carnarvon, Farmer, being in tolerable health of body and of disposing mind memory and understanding praised be God for the same, do this 25th day of January in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and fifty five (1855) make publish and declare this my last Will and Testament in manner and form following viz.

First I give and bequeath to Hugh Jones the son of Humphrey and Jane Jones the daughter of my late wife Jane Griffith, the sum of six pounds (£6) of legal British Money.

Also I give and bequeath to the hereafter named 3 sons of Humphrey Jones by Jane Jones his wife the sum of (£8) eight pounds each, that is to Humphrey Jones (£8) 8 pounds, to David Jones eight pounds (£8) to John Jones eight pounds (£8)

Also I give and bequeath to Jane Jones, daughter of the above named Humphrey Jones by Jane Jones his wife the sum of ten pounds (£10) with their legal interest in as they must be banked until the time she will be able to manage them herself.

Lastly I give and bequeath to Jane Jones wife of the above named Humphrey Jones and who now lives with me, the leasehold of the said Sychnant, with all the rest residue and remainder of my personal property, effects, chattels and credits of what kind or nature soever the same which I may be possessed of at the time of my decease, and I nominate constitute appoint and ordain her and her only the Sole Executrix of this my last Will and Testament, hereby revoking and making void every other Will or Wills heretofore by me made, declaring this and this only to be my last Will and Testament. In witness whereof I hereunto set my hand and seal the day and year first before written.

Signed sealed published and declared by the said Testator Hugh Williams as and for his last Will and Testament in the presence of us who in his presence and at his request and in the presence of each other subscribed our names as witnesses.

On the fifteenth day of April in the year of our Lord 1857 the above written Will was insinuated proved approved and in common form of Law decreed valid and Administration granted to the above named Executrix, Jane Jones, she being first sworn in common form of Law and that the whole of the Goods Chattels and Credits of the deceased do not amount in value to £100.

The deceased died on the 30th day of March 1857.
