Mary Humphreys, Plastudur, Llannor, : Will 1854.

I Mary Humphreys of Plastudur in the Parish of Llannor in the County of Carnarvon, Widow, being ill and weak in body, but of sound and disposing mind, memory and understanding, do make publish and declare my last Will and Testament in manner and form following, viz.

I give and bequeath to my daughter Jane Humphreys the house and shop commonly called Shop Newydd, in the Parish of Edeyrn in the County of Carnarvon.

Also the two dwelling houses and quillet belonging thereto, commonly called Tainewyddion in the Parish of Llannor in the said County of Carnarvon. Also part of the schooner called Andes, port of Pwllheli, Capt Robert Williams; but if my said daughter Jane shall marry and die without children the above named Shop Newydd resides at Edeyrn and the two dwelling houses and Quillets called Tai Newyddion the same shall be at the time of her decease to my eldest daughter Elizabeth Hughes. Wife of Thomas Hughes, Druggist of Pwllheli and her heirs for ever.

As to all the rest residue and remainder of my Personal Estate and Effects of kind or nature soever the same shall be at the time of my decease, I give the same and every part thereof to my said daughter Jane Humphreys, whom I make the Sole Executrix of this my last Will and Testament, but if my said daughter Jane Humphreys will die unmarried, the above named house and quillets and the said Shop Newydd and part of the schooner Andes with all her personal estate the same shall be at the time of of her decease, the same and all the effects thereof shall be to my said eldest daughter Elizabeth Hughes, wife of the above named Thomas Hughes and her heirs for ever, hereby revoking and making void every other Will or Wills heretofore by me made, declaring this, and this only to be my last Will and Testament.

In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this twenty second day of November in the year of our Lord 1850.

N.B. I also hereby appoint Hugh Williams of Gorsgoch and Thomas Hughes of Pwllheli, Druggist to act as Trustees to this Will and Testament.

Published and declared by the said Testator Mary Humphreys, as and for her last Will and Testament in the presence of us, who in her presence at her request and in the presence of each other prescribed our names as witnesses.

On the 24th day of June in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and fifty four the above written Will was insinuated proved approved and in common form of Law decreed valid and Administration granted to the above named Executrix Jane Humphreys, she being first sworn in common form of Law and that the whole of the Goods Chattels and Credits of the said deceased do not amount in value to two hundred pounds. Before me Thomas Jones Surrogate

The deceased died on or about the 15th day of December 1850
