William Williams, Gellidara, Llannor, Farmer : Will 1818.
In the name of God Amen.I William Williams of Gellidara in the Parish of Llannor in the County of Carnarvon, Farmer, being in good state of health, and of sound mind, memory and understanding, praised be God, do make and ordain this my last Will and Testament in manner and form following, that is to say.
First I give and bequeath unto my brother John Williams of Penychain in the Parish of Abererch the sum of fifteen pounds and no more.
Also I give and bequeath unto my brother Griffith Williams of Terfyn in the Parish of Llanaelhaiarn the like sum of fifteen pounds and no more.
Also I give and bequeath unto my brother Robert Williams of Murcypla in the Parish of Llangybi the like sum of fifteen pounds and no more.
Also I give and bequeath unto my brother Henry Williams of Ynysywa in the Parish of Clynnog the like sum of fifteen pounds and no more.
Also I give and bequeath unto William son of my late Nephew Robert Morris the sum of seven pounds and ten shillings.
Also I give and bequeath unto Owen son of my said late Nephew Robert Morris Carpenter the like sum of seven pounds and ten shillings.
Also I give and bequeath unto my Nephew Elias Williams son of my aforesaid brother Griffith Williams the sum of five pounds.
As to all the rest residue and remainder of my personal estate and effects of what kind or quality soever the same shall be at the time of my decease, I give and bequeath the same and every part thereto unto my beloved wife Elizabeth Williams. And I do hereby nominate constitute and appoint my said beloved wife Elizabeth Williams to be Sole Executrix of this my last Will and Testament, revoking and making void every other Will or Wills heretofore by me made declaring this and this only to be my last Will. In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this seventeenth day of April in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and eleven (1811).
Signed sealed published and declared by the said Testator William Williams as and for his last Will and Testament in the presence of us, who in his presence at his request and in the presence of each other have subscribed our names as witnesses.

On the sixth day of December in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and seventeen the within written Will was insinuated proved approved and in common form of Law decreed valid and Administration granted to the within named Executrix Elizabeth Williams, she being first sworn in common form of Law and that the whole of the Goods Chattels and Credits of the said deceased do not amount in value to £800. Before me William Williams Surrogate
Probate granted 20th March 1818.
A true and perfect Inventory of all Goods Chattels and Cattle of William Williams, late of Gellidara in the Parish of Llannor in the County of Carnarvon and Diocese of Bangor, deceased, made by us whose names are hereunto subscribed the 18th day of November in the year of our Lord 1817.
