Eleanor Jones, Cae'r rhos, Llannor, Widow : Will 1846.

In the name of God Amen.

I Eleanor Jones of Cae'r rhos in the Parish of Llannor in the County of Carnarvon, Widow, being in tolerable health of body, and of sound mind memory and understanding, praised be God for the same, do this first day of May in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and thirty seven (1837) make, publish and declare this my last Will and Testament in manner and forn following, viz.

First I give and bequeath unto my daughter Anne the sum of one shilling.

Also I give and bequeath unto my son William the like sum of one shilling.

Also I give and bequeath unto my son Richard the like sum of one shilling.

Also I give and bequeath unto my son John the sum of four pounds.

Also I give and bequeath unto Lowry Williams, Spinster, that was brought up and lately lived with me the sum of ten shillings.

As to all the rest residue and remainder of my Personal Estate and Effects of what kind nature or quality soever the same may be or consist of at the time of my decease, I give and bequeath the same, and every part thereof unto and equally between my three children, John, Hugh and Catherine, but should either of my said three children marry then he or she so marrying is to leave Cae'rhos with his or her share at a fair valuation.

Lastly, I nominate and appoint my said three children, John Jones, Hugh Jones and Catherine Jones Joint Executors of this mt last Will and Testament, hereby revoking and making void every other Will or Wills, heretofore by me made, declaring this and this only, to be my last Will and Testament. In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal, the day and year first before written.

Signed sealed published and declared by the said Testatrix Eleanor Jones, as and for her last Will and Testament, in the presence of us, who in her presence at her request and in the presence of each other have subscribed our names as witnesses.

The tenth day of June in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and forty six, the within written Will was insinuated proved approved and in common form of Law decreed valid and Administration granted to the within named John Jones, Hugh Jones and Catherine Jones as Joint Executors, they being first sworn in common form of Law, and that the whole of the Goods Chattels Effects and Credits of the deceased do not amount in value to the sum of one hundred pounds.

The Testatrix died on the 14th day of October 1844.

A true and perfect Inventory of all the Goods and Effects of the late Eleanor Jones of Cae rhos in the Parish of Llannor in the County of Carnarvon and Diocese of Bangor, Widow, made and appraised by us (Gratis)
