John Evans, Cae Sion Howel, Llannor, Farmer : Will 1818.

In the name of God Amen.

I John Evans of Cae Sion howel in the Parish of Llannor in the County of Carnarvon, Farmer, being in health of body, and of sound mind, memory and understanding, praised be God, do this fifth day of August in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and fifteen (1815) make and ordain this my last Will and Testament in manner following.

In the first place I give and bequeath to my beloved wife Mary Owen the sum of two pounds to be paid her yearly, and every year during her natural life on or by two equal payments, namely, one pound every six months, the first payment to be made in six calendar months after my decease out of all my personal estate, by my Executor herein after named.

Also I give my said beloved wife Mary Owen a bed, bedstead and all the clothes thereunto belonging.

Also I give and bequeath unto my daughter Elizabeth Jones the sum of five pounds.

Also I give and bequeath unto my daughter Margaret Jones the sum of seven pounds and subject to the payment of the said annual sum of two pounds and the bed and bedding to my wife, and the other above named legacies of five and seven pounds to my daughters. I give and bequeath unto my son Evan Jones all the rest residue and remainder of my personal estate and effects. And I do hereby nominate constitute and appoint my said son Evan Jones to be Sole Executor of this my last Will and Testament making void every other Will or Wills heretofore by me made declaring this to be my last Will. In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal the day and year first above written.

Signed sealed published and declared by the said Testator John Evans as and for his last Will and Testament in the presence of us who in his presence at his request and in the presence of each other have subscribed our names as witnesses.

On the twenty fourth day of December in the year 1816 the within written Will was insinuated proved approved and in common form of Law decreed valid and Administration granted to the above named Executor Evan Jones, he being first sworn in common form of Law and that the whole of the Goods Chattels and Credits of the said deceased do not amount in value to £100.

A true and perfect Inventory of all the Goods Chattels and Credits of the late John Evan of Caesionhowel in the Parish of Llannor in the County of Carnarvon, farmer , deceased, made and appraised by us (gratis) this 27th day of February 1816.
