Griffith Jones, Tyddyn Ffili, Llannor, Yeoman/Farmer : Will 1816.

In the name of God Amen.

I Griffith Jones of Tyddyn ffili in the Parish of Llannor and of the County of Carnarvon, farmer, being in health of body and of sound mind memory and understanding, thanks be to Almighty God for the same do make publish and ordain this my last Will and Testament in manner and form following, viz.

In the first place I give and bequeath unto my son John Griffith the sum of five pounds.

Also I give and bequeath unto my daughter Sydna Griffith the like sum of five pounds.

Also I give and bequeath unto my son Cadwalader Griffith the like sum of five pounds.

Also I give and bequeath unto my daughter Catherine Griffith the like sum of five pounds.

Also I give and bequeath unto my daughter Ruth Griffith the like sum of five pounds.

Also I give and bequeath unto my daughter Mary Griffith the like sum of five pounds.

Also I give and bequeath unto my daughter Margaret Griffith the like sum of five pounds.

As to all the rest residue and remainder of my personal estate and effects of what kind nature or quality soever the same may be or consist of at the time of my decease, I give and bequeath the same and every part thereof unto my beloved wife Anne Jones. And I do hereby nominate constitute and appoint my said beloved wife Anne Jones to be Sole Executrix of this my last Will and Testament, revoking and making void every other Will or Wills heretofore by me made declaring this to be my last Will. In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this fifth day of July in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and fifteen (1815).

Signed sealed published and declared by the said Testator Griffith Jones as and for hid last Will and Testament in the presence of us, who in his presence at his request and the presence of each other have subscribed our names as witnesses.

On the third day of April in the year of our Lord 1816, the within written Will was insinuated proved approved and in common form of Law decreed valid and Administration granted to the within named Executrix, she being first sworn in common form of Law and that the whole of the Goods Chattels and Credits of the said deceased do not amount in value to £100.

Probate granted 16th April 1816.

A true and perfect Inventory of all the Goods Chattels and Credits of the late Griffith Jones of Tyddyn ffili in the Parish of Llannor in the County of Carnarvon, Yeoman, deceased made and appraised by us gratis this 7th day of February in the year of our Lord 1816.
