Robert Williams, Penrhos, Llannor, Farmer : Will 1837.

In the name of God Amen.

I Robert Williams of Penrhos in the Parish of Llannor, in the County of Carnarvon, Farmer, being in tolerable health of body and of sound disposing mind memory thanks to God for the same, do this ninth day of April in the year of our Lord, one thousand eight hundred and thirty six (1836) make publish and declare this my last Will and Testament in manner and form following, viz.

First I give and bequeath unto my son Robert Williams the sum of eight pounds with a feather bed, bedstead and all clothes thereto belonging.

Also I give and bequeath unto my son William Williams the sum of ten pounds.

Also I give and bequeath unto my son Edward Williams the like sum of ten pounds.

Also I give and bequeath unto my son Griffith Williams the like sum of ten pounds.

Also I give and bequeath unto my daughter Catherine the like sum of ten pounds, without the control management or interference of her husband Robert Owen, and her own receipt to be a sufficient discharge to my Executors for the same.

Also I give and bequeath unto my daughter Elizabeth the like sum of ten pounds.

And subject to the payment of the above legacies in twelve calendar months after my decease the payment of my just debts, funeral expenses and the proving of this my Will, I give devise and bequeath all the rest residue and remainder of my leasehold and personal estate of what kind nature or quality soever the same may be or consist of at the time of my decease, unto and equally between my son David Williams and my daughter Anne Roberts, now living with me, as Tenants in common and not as Joint Tenants.

And lastly, I nominate constitute and appoint my said son David Williams and my said daughter Anne Roberts, Joint Executors of this my last Will and Testament, hereby revoking and making void every other Will or Wills heretofore by me made declaring this and this only to be my last Will and Testament. In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal the day and year first before written.

Signed sealed published and declared by the said Testator Robert Williams as and for his last Will and Testament in the presence of us who in his presence at his request and in the presence of each other have subscribed our names as witnesses.

On the tenth day of August the aforesaid written Will in the year of our Lord 1837 was insinuated proved approved and in common form of Law decreed valid and Administration granted to the above named David Williams and Anne Roberts, Joint Executors, they being first sworn in common form of Law and that the whole of the Goods Chattels and Credits of the said deceased do not amount in value to the sum of one hundred pounds.

A true and perfect Inventory of all the Goods Chattels Credits and Effects of the late Robert Williams of Penrhos in the Parish of Llannor in the County of Carnarvon and Diocese of Bangor, Farmer made and appraised by us (gratis) this 6th day of July in the year 1837.
