Hugh Roberts, Brynmoelyn, Llannor, Farmer : Will 1836.
In the name of God Amen.I Hugh Roberts of Brynmoelyn in the Parish of Llannor in the County of Carnarvon, Farmer, being sick and weak in body, but of sound and disposing mind memory and understanding praised be Almighty God for the same, do this eighteenth day of August in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and thirty five (1835), make, publish and declare this my last Will and Testament in manner and form following, viz.
First I give and bequeath unto my grand daughter Eleanor, wife of Robert Hughes of Capel cam the sum of five pounds.
Also I give and bequeath unto my grand daughter Mary, wife of Edmund Prichard the like sum of five pounds.
One half of both legacies to be paid in twelve calendar months after my decease and the other half in two years. Also I give and bequeath unto my grandson Owen Roberts, son of my son Henry Roberts the sum of ten pounds to be paid him when he attains the age of twenty one years, without interest.
As to all the rest residue and remainder of my personal effects and estate of what kind nature or quality soever the same may be or consist of at the time of my decease I give and bequeath the same and every part thereof unto my son Henry Roberts absolutely.
Lastly I nominate constitute and appoint my said son Henry Roberts Sole Executor of this my last Will and Testament hereby revoking and making void every other Will or Wills heretofore by me made declaring this and this only to be my last Will and Testament. In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal the day and year first before written.
Signed sealed published and declared by the said Testator Hugh Roberts as and for his last Will and Testament in the presence of us who in his presence at his request and in the presence of each other have subscribed our names as witnesses.

On the 20th day of January in the year of our Lord 1836 the within written Will was insinuated proved approved and in common form of Law decreed valid and Administration granted to the within named Henry Roberts Sole Executor, he being first sworn in common form of Law and that the whole of the Goods Chattels and Credits of the said deceased do not amount in value to the sum of one hundred pounds.

A true and perfect Inventory of all Goods Chattels Effects and Credits of the late Hugh Roberts of Brynmoelyn in the Parish of Llannor in the County of Carnarvon, Farmer deceased made and appraised by us (gratis) this 16th day of January in the year of our Lord 1836.
