Cadwalader Owen, Plasnewydd, Llannor, Farmer : Will 1816.

In the name of God Amen.

I Cadwalader Owen of Plasnewydd in the Parish of Llannor in the County of Carnarvon, Farmer, being well in body, and of sound mind memory and understanding praised be God for the same, do make and ordain this my last Will and Testament in manner and form following, viz.

First I give and bequeath unto my brother John Owen the sum of one shilling and no more.

Also I give and bequeath unto my brother Owen Owen the like sum of one shilling and no more.

Also I give and bequeath unto my brother Edward Owen the like sum of one shilling and no more.

Also I give and bequeath unto my sister Ellin Owen the like sum of one shilling and no more.

Also I give and bequeath unto my beloved wife Mary Griffith all my household furniture and linen of what kind soever the same may be.

As to all the rest residue and remainder of my personal estate and effects of what nature or quality soever the same may be at the time of my decease, I give and bequeath the same between my said beloved wife Mary Griffith and Cadwalader William, son of William Isaac, share and share alike. And I charge them equally with the payment of all my just debts, funeral expenses and the proving of this my last Will.

Lastly I nominate constitute and appoint my said beloved wife Mary Griffith and the said Cadwalader William to be Joint Executors of this my last Will and Testament revoking and making void every other Will or Wills heretofore by me made, declaring this and this only to be my last Will. In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this twenty third day of December in the year of our Lord 1810.

Signed sealed published and declared by the within named Testator Cadwalader Owen as and for his last Will and Testament in the presence of us who in his presence at his request and in the presence of each other have subscribed our names as witnesses.

On the 22nd day of March in the year 1816 the within written Will was insinuated proved approved and in common form of Law decreed valid and Administration granted to the within named Executrix Mary Griffith (power reserved for Cadwalader William the other Executor) she being first sworn in common form of Law and that the whole of the Goods Chattels and Credits of the said deceased do not amount in value to £20. Before me William Williams Surrogate
