Elizabeth Ellis, Penybryn, Llannor, Widow : Will 1835.

In the name of God Amen.

I Elizabeth Ellis of Penybryn in the Parish of Llannor in the County of Carnarvon, Widow, being in tolerable health of body and of sound and disposing mind memory and understanding praised be God for the same do this twenty sixth day of October in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and thirty (1830) make publish and declare this my last Will and Testament in manner and form following, viz.

First I give and bequeath unto my daughter Elizabeth Ellis, the bed, bedstead and all clothes thereunto belonging in which she generally sleeps, also the chest of drawers in the room she so generally sleeps.

Also I give and bequeath unto my said daughter Elizabeth Ellis the six old silver tea spoons.

I give and bequeath unto my grandson John Ellis the silver cup marked E.E. The gift of several friends.

Also I give and bequeath unto my grandson Richard Ellis one large soup spoon.

As to all the rest residue and remainder of my personal estate and effects of what kind nature or quality soever the same may be or consist of at the time of my decease, I give and bequeath the same and every part thereof, without any deduction whatsoever unto my daughter Eleanor Ellis.

And I do hereby nominate constitute and appoint my said daughter Eleanor Ellis Sole Executrix of this my last Will and Testament hereby revoking and making void every other Will or Wills heretofore by me made declaring this and this only to be my last . In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal the day and year first above written.

Signed sealed published and declared by the said Testator Elizabeth Ellis as and for her last Will and Testament in the presence of us who in her presence at her request and in the presence of each other have subscribed our names as witnesses.

On the 25th day of July in the year of our Lord 1835 the within written Will was insinuated proved approved and in common form of Law decreed valid and Administration granted to the within named Eleanor Ellis, Sole Executrix, she being first sworn in common form of Law and that the whole of the Goods Chattels and Credits of the said deceased do not amount in value to the sum of two hundred pounds.

A true and perfect Inventory of all the Goods Chattels and Merchandise as well moveable as not moveable of Elizabeth Ellis late of Penybryn in the Parish of Llannor in the County of Carnarvon and Diocese of Bangor, Widow, deceased made by us whose names are hereunto subscribed the 30th day of June in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and thirty five.
