Hugh Thomas, Tanyrallt, Refalnewydd, Llannor : Will 1831.
In the name of God Amen.I Hugh Thomas of Tan yr allt yr Refalnewydd in the Parish of Llannor in the County of Carnarvon in good memory do hereby publish and declare this my last Will and Testament in the manner and form following.
I give and bequeath to my eldest son William Hughes the sum of one shilling.
Also I give and bequeath to my daughter Mary Hughes the sum of one shilling.
Also I give and bequeath to my son John Hughes the sum of one shilling.
And as for the rest and residue and remainder of all my singular Goods of my personal estates and effects whatsoever and where soever and of what nature and kind, I give and bequeath the same and every part thereof to my wife Mary Hughes whom I hereby nominate constitute the said Mary Hughes (my wife) to be Sole Executrix of this my last Will and Testament, and I do hereby ratify and confirm this and this only to be my last Will and Testament. In witness whereof I the said Hugh Thomas have hereunto set my hand and seal this the thirteenth day of October in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and thirty (1830)
Signed sealed published and declared by the said Hugh Thomas as his last Will and Testament in the presence of us. John Rowland Robert Lloyd On the tenth day of May in the year of our Lord 1831 the within written Will was insinuated proved approved and in common form of Law decreed valid and Administration granted to the within named Mary Hughes Sole Executrix, she being first sworn in common form of Law and that the whole of the Goods Chattels and Credits of the said deceased do not amount in value to the sum of one hundred pounds.

A true and perfect Inventory of all the Goods Chattels Effects and Credits of the late Hugh Thomas of Tanrallt in the Parish of Llannor in the County of Carnarvon, Farmer deceased made and appraised by us (gratis) this 22nd day of April in the year of our Lord 1831.
