Thomas Griffith, Marsh Cottage, Pwllheli, Yeoman : Will 1831.
In the name of God Amen.I Thomas Griffith living in a cottage on the marsh in the Parish of Denio in the County of Carnarvon, Yeoman, being sick and weak in body but of sound disposing mind memory and understanding, praised be Almighty God for the same, do this 21st day of May in the year of our Lord 1830, make publish and declare this my last Will and Testament in manner and form following, viz.
First I give and bequeath unto my son in law Evan Williams of Penycob all my wearing apparel.
Also I give and bequeath unto my daughter Anne, wife of Humphrey Jones the sum of five pounds.
Also I give and bequeath unto my daughter Eleanor my clock.
Also I give Clarke's Bible unto my grandson Thomas Evan of Penycob, Bachelor.
As to all the rest, residue and remainder of my personal estate and effects of what kind, nature or quality soever the same may be or consist of at the time of my decease, I give and bequeath the same and every part thereof unto and between my daughters Mary and Eleanor, share and share alike.
Lastly I nominate constitute and appoint my said daughter Mary and Eleanor Joint Executrixes of this my last Will and Testament, hereby revoking and making void every other Will or Wills heretofore by me made declaring this and this only to be my last Will. In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal the day and year first written.
Signed sealed published and declared by the said Testator Thomas Griffith as and for his last Will and Testament in the presence of us who in his presence at his request and in the presence of each other have subscribed our names as witnesses.

On the 20th day of September in the year of our Lord 1831 the within written Will was insinuated prove approved and in common form of Law decreed valid and Administration granted to the within named Mary Griffith and Eleanor Griffith, Joint Executrixes, they being first sworn in common form of Law and that the whole of the Goods Chattels and Credits of the said deceased do not amount in value to the sum of £100.
