Eleanor Griffith, Brynhunog, Llannor, Widow : Will 1812.

In the name of God Amen.

I Eleanor Griffith of Brynhunog in the Parish of Llannor and in the County of Carnarvon, Widow, being of a sound and disposing mind memory and understanding, praised be God, do publish and declare this written instrument as and for my last Will and Testament which I make and ordain in the form and manner following, thst is to say. Imprimis.

I give and bequeath to my son Howel Roberts the sum of two pounds and two shillings British money.

Item. I give and bequeath to my son Owen Roberts the sum of five shillings British money.

Item. I give and bequeath to my daughter Margaret Roberts the sum of two shillings British money.

Item. I give and bequeath unto my daughter Ann Roberts the sum of five shillings British money.

Item. I give and bequeath unto my daughter Catherine Roberts the sum of five shillings British money.

Item. I give and bequeath unto my grandson Robert Roberts the son of Mary Roberts the sum of three pounds British money.

Item. I give and bequeath unto my grand daughter Eleanor Roberts the daughter of Mary Roberts the sum of five pounds British money.

Item. I give and bequeath unto my grand daughter Ann Roberts the daughter of Mary Roberts the sum of five pounds British money.

As to the rest residue and remainder of my personal estate goods chattels and credits I give and bequeath the same all and singular thereof after the just payment of the above legacies at the end of one year and paying my funeral expenses to my daughter Mary Roberts and my grandson John Roberts the son of Mary Roberts, whom I also nominate constitute and appoint Joint Executors of this my last Will and Testament hereby revoking all Will or Wills by me at any time hereafter made declaring this and this my last Will and Testament. In testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this nineteenth day of September one thousand eight hundred and six.

On the 27th day of May in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and twelve (1812) the within written Will was insinuated proved approved and in common form of Law decreed valid and Administration granted to the within named John Roberts and Mary Roberts they being first sworn in common form of Law and that the whole of the Goods Chattels and Credits of the said deceased do not amount in value to £100. Before me William Williams Surrogate.

Probate granted 19th September 1812.

A true and perfect Inventory of the Goods Chattels and Effects of the late Ellin Griffith of Brynhunog in the Parish of Llannor in the County of Carnarvon and Diocese of Bangor, Widow, deceased made and appraised by us (gratis) this sixth day of March in the year of our Lord 1811.
