Elias Williams, Pwllheli, Shopkeeper and Auctioneer : Bond 1808.

Know all men by these presents, that we Elizabeth Williams of Pwllheli in the County of Carnarvon, Widow, Robert O Owens of the Town of Carnarvon, Shopkeeper and John Oakes of the said Town and County of Carnarvon, Shopkeeper are holden and firmly bound ....... in the sum of three hundred and ninety eight pounds.

On the 25th day of May in the year of our Lord 1808 personally appeared Elizabeth Williams and alledged that Elias Williams late of Pwllheli in the County of Carnarvon and Diocese of Bangor died in the year of our Lord 1808, Intestate without making any Will, that she the appearer is the lawful Widow and relict of the said deceased wherefore she prays that Administration of all and singular the Goods etc of the deceased be granted to her on giving the usual security.

Let Administration pass as prayed to the said Elizabeth Williams, she being first personally sworn on the Holy Evangelists as the Law directs and that the whole of the Goods Chattels and Credits of the said deceased do not amount in value to £200.

A true and perfect Inventory of all the stock in trade household furniture and cash in the house wearing apparel and all other description of property belonging to the late Elias Williams of Pwllheli who died 21st day of May 1808 as appraised by us (Gratis) this 25th day of May 1808.
