Cadwalader Jones, Bryn Moelyn, Llannor, Yeoman : Will 1802.

In the name of God Amen.

I Cadwalader Jones Bryn Moelyn in the Parish of Llannor in the County of Carnarvon, Yeoman, considering the uncertainty of the mortal life and being of sound and perfect mind and memory, do make and publish this my last Will and Testament in manner and form following (that is to say).

I give and bequeath to my eldest son John Jones the sum of forty pounds.

I also give and bequeath to my son William Jones the sum of forty pounds.

I do also give and bequeath to my daughter Dorothy Jones the sum of forty pounds.

Also give and bequeath to my grandson John Thomas the sum of five shillings.

Also give and bequeath to my grandson Rice Jones the sum of one shilling.

Also give to my grandson and grand daughter Theophilus Jones and Mary Jones, two shillings equally to be divided between them.

Also I give and bequeath to my to my grand daughter Cathrine Jones the sum of five pounds.

And lastly as to all the rest residue and remainder of my personal Estate Goods and Chattels of what kind or nature soever, I give and bequeath the same to my son Richard Jones, whom I hereby appoint Sole Executor of this my last Will and Testament, hereby revoking all former Will or Wills by me made. In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal the eighth day of February in the year of the Reign of Our Sovereign Lord George the Third by the Grace of God of Great Britain, France and Ireland King Defender of the Faith and so forth. And in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and two.

Signed sealed published and declared by the above named Cadwalader Jones to be his last Will and Testament in the presence of us, who have hereunto subscribed our names as witnesses in the presence of the Testator.

On the tenth day of March in the year of our Lord 1802 the above or within written Will was insinuated proved approved and in common form of Law decreed valid and Administration granted to the within named Executor Richard Jones, he being first sworn in common form of Law and that the whole of the Goods Chattels and Credits of the said deceased do not amount in value to £200.

Probate granted 1st day of May 1802.

The true and perfect Inventory of all and singular the Goods Cattle and Chattels of Cadwalader Jones late of Bryn Moelyn, Yeoman in the Parish of Llannor and Diocese of Bangor in the County of Carnarvon made valued and appraised the sixth day of March 1802.
