Owen Roberts, Bryn y Pys, Llannor, Yeoman : Will 1791.
In the name of God Amen. I Owen Roberts of Bryn y Pys in the Parish of Llannor in the County of Carnarvon and Diocese of Bangor, Yeoman in perfect health and sense and understanding praised be God, do make this my last Will and Testament in manner and form following.First I give and bequeath to my son William Owen one shilling and no more.
Also I give and bequeath to my daughter Jane Owen one shilling and no more.
Also I give and bequeath to my daughter Elizabeth one shilling and no more.
I give and bequeath also to my daughter Anne one shilling and no more.
Also I give and bequeath to my son David Owen the sum of four pounds of lawful money of Great Britain and no more.
As for the rest residue and remainder of my worldly Goods Cattle and Chattels and Money and Demands whatsoever and where soever they are and what nature soever they be and where soever they are in or out, I give and bequeath them all unto my dear and beloved wife Lowry Jones and I do make and ordain her to be my Sole Executrix of this my last Will and Testament upon condition that she will pay my debts and legacies and my funeral expenses and I do hereby utterly disallow revoke and disannull all and every other former Testaments Wills and Legacies Bequests and Executors by me in any ways before this time named willed and bequeathed ratifying and confirming this and no other to be my last Will and Testament. In witness whereof I the said Owen Roberts have hereunto set my hand and seal this fifth day of April in the year of our Lord God one thousand seven hundred and sixty eight.
