Jonnet Parry, Llannor, Widow : Will 1783.

In the name of God Amen.
The twenty first day of October one thousand seven hundred and eighty two.

I Jonnet Parry, Widow of the Parish of Llannor in the County of Carnarvon and Diocese of Bangor, being very sick and weak in body but of perfect mind and memory, thanks be given to God, do make and ordain this my last Will and Testament in manner and form following, that is to say.

First I give and bequeath to Henry Jones my grandson, son of my daughter Jonnet Hughes the sum of twenty shillings lawful British money.

Secondly I give and bequeath unto my grandaughter Ann Jones daughter of the above named Jonet Hughes the sum of twenty shillings lawful British money.

Thirdly I give and bequeath to my beloved daughter above named Jonet Hughes between her and her three sons, my grandsons John, Griffith and Hugh the sum of twenty shillings lawful British money.

Fourthly I give and bequeath unto my grandson John Prichard, son of my son Richard Hughes the sum of fifteen shillings lawful British money.

Fifth I give and bequeath to my grandaughters of the above named Richard Hughes unto Mary one shilling and one shilling to Jane.

Also I give and bequeath unto my well beloved daughter Mary Hughes, who I likewise constitute make and ordain my Sole Executrix of this my last Will and Testament and singular my goods and chattels whatsoever I am possessed of by her freely to be possessed and enjoyed and I do hereby utterly disallow revoke and disannull, ratifying this and no other to be my last Will and Testament.

It is my desire that my Nephew John Williams would see everything paid and done according to this my last Will and Testament, In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal the year above written.

Signed sealed published pronounced and declared by the said Jonet Parry as her last Will and Testament in the presence of us the subscribers.

On the 22nd of January in the year 1783 the within above written Will was insinuated proved approved and in common form of Law decreed valid and Administration granted to Mary Hughes the within named Executrix, she being first personally sworn on the Holy Evangelists as the Law directs.
