William Griffith, Caecorn, Llannor : Will 1778.
In the name of God Amen.I William Griffith of Cae Corn in the Parish of Llannor in the County of Carnarvon, being sick and weak in body but of a perfect mind and memory do make and ordain this my last Will and Testament.
I give and bequeath to my daughters Mary Griffith and Martha Griffith the full and just sum of five shillings each of lawful British money.
I also give and bequeath to my two sons Williams Griffith and Griffith Griffith the like sum of five shillings of lawful British money each.
I also give and bequeath to my beloved wife Mary Prichard and to my youngest son Richard Griffith, whom I make constitute and appoint Co-Executors of this my last Will and Testament all and singular of my effects of what kind or nature soever the same do consist, to be by them freely and quetly enjoyed and possessed, and I do hereby utterly revoke and disannull all and every other former Wills Legacies Bequests and Executors by me in any way before this time named willed bequeathed ratifying and confirming this and no other to be my last Will and Testament. In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal the 10th day of May in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and seventy eight.
Signed sealed published pronounced and declared by the said William Griffith as his last Will and Testament in the presence of us.

On the fourth day of June in the year 1778 the within written Will was insinuated proved approved and in common form of Law decreed valid and Administration granted to Mary Prichard one of the within named Co-Executors, the other being a minor, she being first personally sworn on the Holy Evangelists as the Law directs.
