Evan Roberts, Bwlch Gwyn, Llannor : Will 1773.
In the name of God Amen.I Evan Roberts of Bwlchgwyn in the Parish of Llannor and County of Carnarvon, being of disposing mind and memory thanks be God for it do on the eleventh day of August in the year of our Lord 1773 make and ordain this my last Will and Testament as followeth.
First I give devise and bequeath to my wife Elinor Jones the fourteen pounds that is in her custody at present and the two pounds three shillings and six pence that John Evans of trefgraig owes her in ready cash. Also I give to my said wife one cow, two sheep and all the household furniture that she bought here when we married.
Secondly I give devise and bequeath to my son Robert Evans the sum of five pounds fifteen shillings and six pence. Also I give and bequeath to my said son Robert the large pan that I have in the house and in case that he shall die without any issue my Will is that he should give the said sum and pan to his brother John Evans.
Thirdly I give devise and bequeath to my son Griffith Evans the sum of four pounds and four shillings in cash.
Fourthly I give devise and bequeath to my daughter Jane Evans the sum of nine pounds and nine shillings in cash, together with a bedstead and bed clothes.
Fifthly I give devise and bequeath to my son Evan Evans the sum of nine pounds and nine shillings in cash together with his mother's chest.
Sixthly I give and bequeath to my son John Evans the feather bed. Seventh I give and devise to my daughter Alice Evans all my household firniture except what I have above mentioned.
Lastly I do nominate constitute and appoint my said son John Evans and my said daughter Alice Evans, Co-Executors of this my last Will and Testament and I do hereby revoke and make void all other Wills and Testaments by me heretofore made and in witness that this is my last Will and Testament I have hereunto set my hand and seal this eleventh day of August in the year of our Lord 1773.
Signed sealed published and declared by the said Testator as his last Will and Testament in our presence who in his presence and at his request have hereunto set my hand as witnesses thereto.

On the 13th day of September in the year 1773 the within written Will was insinuated proved approved and in common form of Law decreed valid and Administration granted to John Evans and Alice Evans appointed Co-Executors in the said Will, they being first personally sworn on the Holy Evangelists, as the Law directs.
