Lowry Humphrey, Llannerch Fawr, Llannor, Widow : Will 1772.
In the name of God Amen.I Lowry Humphrey of Llannerch Fawr in the Parish of Llannor in the County of Carnarvon and Diocese of Bangor, Widow, do make and ordain this my last Will and Testament in manner and form following.
First I give and bequeath to my son Humphrey the sum of eight pounds.
I also give and bequeath to my two sons Harry and David the sum of ten pounds each of them.
I also give and bequeath to my two sons William and John the sum of five pounds to each of them.
I also give and bequeath to my two daughters Elizabeth and Gwen the sum of two shillings and six pence each.
I also give and bequeath to the children of my daughter Elizabeth the sum of eight pounds, to be paid them as soon as either of them arrives at the age of twenty one years, by my Executor hereafter named.
I also give and bequeath the like sum of eight pounds to the children of my daughter Gwen aforesaid, to be paid them also by my Executor, when either of them arrives at the age of twenty one years.
I also give and bequeath to Catherine the daughter of my son Owen, one pound besides the guinea I have lent her, and also to her sister Elizabeth Owen the sum of two pounds.
I also give and bequeath to Martha daughter of Robert Humphrey, Miller and to Evan son of my son David one guinea each of them.
The rest and residue of my effects whether it be money goods or chattels, I give leave and bequeath to my son Robert Evans Clerk, constituting and appointing him the said Robert, Sole Executor of this my last Will and Testament. In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this twenty third day of October in the year 1772.
Signed sealed published and declared in the presence of John Gabriel Tailor and Robert Owen Clerk of Pwllheli.
On the 11th day of November 1772 the within written Will was insinuated proved approved and in common form of Law decreed valid and Administration granted to the within appointed Executor, he being first personally sworn on the Holy Evangelists as the Law directs.
