William Jones, Talysarn, Llanllechid, Farmer : Will 1856.
This is the last Will and Testament of me William Jones of Talysarn in the Parish of Llanllechid in the County of Carnarvon, Farmer.I give and bequeath unto my daughter Elizabeth the sum of one hundred pounds and the money which her husband owes me.
I give and bequeath unto my Grandchildren, the son and daughter of my son William the sum of fifty pounds to be equally divided between them.
I give unto my Housekeeper Ellin Evans the sum of thirty pounds if she remains in my service up to the time of my death
I give to my Husbandman William Edwards the sum of Ten pounds if he remains in my service up to the time of my death.
All the rest residue and remainder of my real and personal estate whatsoever and wheresoever situate I give devise and bequeath unto my son John his heirs executors and administrators and appoint him Sole Executor of this my Will. I revoke all former Wills by me at any time made and declare this to be my last Will and Testament. In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand this sixteenth day of September in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and fifty two.
Signed and published by the said Testator as and for his last Will and Testament in the presence of R O Williams Attorney Carnarvon and Morgan Richard Clerk with William Owen Attorney Bangor.
On the fourth day of Spril in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and fifty six, John Edmunds the sole Executor named in the foregoing Will was duly sworn to the truth and faithful performance thereof as usual, that the whole of the Goods, Chattels and Credits of the deceased Testator do not amount in value to the sum of Two Thousand pounds, and that the deceased died the 3rd day of January 1856.
