Hugh Jones, Carneddi, Llanllechid, Quarryman : Will 1855.
This is the last Will and Testament of me Hugh Jones of Carneddi in the Parish of Llanllechid in the County of Carnarvon, Quarryman, as follows.I give an bequeath my clothes of all kind to my son David. Also I give and bequeath to my said son David the sum of Two pounds.
Also, I give and bequeath to my son John the sum of One pound.
Also, I give and bequeath to my son Hugh the sum of one shilling.
Also, I give and bequeath to my daughter Sarah the sum of Ten shillings to be paid to her by weekly installments of one shilling per week.
Also, I give and bequeath to my daughter Ellin the sum of one shilling.
And as for the rest, residue of my property, I give and bequeath all the same of every description to my Grand daughter Hannah James being the daughter of my late Daughter Margaret for ever and I hereby nominate and appoint my said Grand Daughter Hannah James Sole Executrix of this my last Will and Testament, hereby revoking all former Wills.
In witness whereof I have to this my last Will and Testament put my hand and seal this Tenth day of November in the year of our Lord, one thousand eight hundred and fifty four.
Signed sealed published and declared by the Testator Hugh Jones in the presence of us who at his request in his presence and in the presence of each other have signed our names as witnesses thereto.

On the twentieth day of January in the year of our Lord One thousand eight hundred and fifty five, Hannah James now the wife of Evan Moses (formerly Hannah James Spinster) the Sole Executrix in the within Will named, was duly sworn to the truth and faithful performance thereof, as usual, that the whole of the Goods, Chattels and Credits of the deceased Testator do not amount in value to the sum of Twenty Pounds, and that the deceased died the 29th day of December 1854.
