Elizabeth Owens, Freithwen, Llanllechid, Widow : Will 1850.

In the name of God Amen.

The twenty fifth day of March in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and forty four, I Elizabeth Owens of Freithwen in the Parish of Llanllechid Carnarvonshire, widow being through the blessing of God in a sound state of mind and memory, do make and ordain this my last Will and Testament, that is to say.

I give bequeath and dispose of the property to which I am or may become entitled to in the manner and proportions here following viz.

I give and bequeath to my son William the sum of Twenty five pounds to be paid to him within one month after my decease.
Also I give to my daughter Mary the sum of Twenty pounds.
Finally I give and bequeath unto my Grandson Edward Jones to whom I make all of my household furniture and the whole that I have got out and such money as may be in my house at the time of my death. I ratifying and confirming this and no other to be my last Will and Testament. In witness whereof I have hereto set my hand and seal the day and year above written.

Signed sealed published and declared by the said Elizabeth Owens and in the presence of each other set our hands as witnesses thereto - Morris Owen Freithwen Llanllechid and Owen Owens Freithwen Llanllechid.

On the sixteenth day of September in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and fifty, the within written Will was insinuated proved approved and in Common form of Law decreed valid and Administration granted to Edward Jones the Residuary Legatee within named he being first sworn in common Law and that the whole of the Goods Chattels and Credits of the deceased Testatrix do not amount in value to the sum of One hundred pounds.

The Testatrix died on the 26th day of December 1849.

An Inventory of the Goods and Chattels Household Furniture and Effects being the personal Estate of Elizabeth Owen of Freithwen in the Parish of Llanllechid in the County of Carnarvon and Diocese of Bangor deceased.
