Ann Hughes, Aberogwen, Llanllechid, Widow : Will 1799.
In the name of God Amen.I Anne Hughes alias Prichard of Aberogwen in the Parish of Llanllechid in the County of Carnarvon (widow) being in perfect health and of sound mind, memory and understanding, but considering the uncertainty of this Transitory life, do make publish and declare this my last Will and Testament in manner and form following, (To Wit)
First I give devise and bequeath to my son Richard Jones all and singular the Goods Chattels and Effects of whatever nature they may be, or wherever they may be found in as full and ample a manner as possible can be, That is all and singular the Effects I shall be lawfully entitled at the time of my decease, and further in case my son Richard Jones should depart this life before me. It is my Will and meaning that all I am possessed ass aforesaid at the time of my decease shall be distributed amongst my Grandchildren, share and share alike, and I hereby nominate and appoint my son Richard Jones Sole Executor of this my last Will and Testament.
And I do hereby disallow revoke and disannul all and every other former Testaments, Wills, Legacies, Bequests and Executors by me in any ways before named willed and bequeathed, ratifying and confirming this, and no other to be my last Will and Testament.
In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this Fifteenth day of October in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and ninety five.
Signed sealed published and declared by the above named Anne Hughes alias Prichard as and for her last Will and Testament in the presence of us who have hereunto subscribed our names as witnesses thereto in the presence of the said Testator and in the presence of each other.

On the eighteenth day of February in the year of our Lord 1799 the within written Will was insinuated proved approved and in common form of Law decreed valid and Administration granted to the within named Executor Richard Jones, he being first sworn as the Law directs and that the Goods Chattels and Credits of the said deceased do not amount in value to the sum of three hundred pounds.
