Jonnet Elias, Castell Gwgan, Llangybi, Widow : Will 1819.

In the name of God, Amen.

I Jonnet Elias of Castell gwgan in the Parish of Llangybi in the County of Carnarvon and Diocese of Bangor, widow, being of sound mind, memory and understanding, praised be God, do publish and declare this within instrument as and for my last Will and Testament which I make and ordain in the form and manner following that is to say. Imprimis.

I give and bequeath to my three grand children, children of my late son Robert Prichart of Betws Bach, in the Parish of Llanystyndwy, the sum of ten pounds sterling to be shared between them three and no more.

I give and bequeath to my son Elias Prichard of Bwlch Dwyfor in the same parish fifteen pounds and feather bed and no more.

I give and bequeath to my son William Prichart of Penarfynydd of the Parish of Abererch a clock and corner cupboard and a larder, Bible and no more.

I give and bequeath to my daughter Catherine Prichard of Cae’r tyddun the sum of fifteen pounds and the rest and residue of all of my house furniture I give to my above named Catherine Prichard and my wearing clothes and no more.

As to the rest and residue of my present estate, goods, chattels and credits I give and bequeath the same to my son Thomas Prichard whom I also nominate, constitute and appoint Sole Executrix of this my last Will and Testament in testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this eighth day of June in the year one thousand eight hundred and eighteen.

Signed sealed published and declared by the Testatrix Jonnet Elias as and for her last Will and Testament in our presence at her request and in the presence of each other have subscribed our names as witnesses thereunto.

On the twelfth day of June in the year of our Lord 1819 the within written Will was insinuated proved approved and in common form of Law decreed valid and Administration granted to the within named Executor Thomas Prichard, he being first sworn in common form of Law and that the whole of the Goods Chattels and Credits of the said deceased do not amount in value to £100.

A true and perfect inventory of all the goods, Chattels, Wares and merchandises, as well moveable as not moveable of Jonnet Thomas alias Elias, late of Castell gwgan, in the County of Carnarvon and Diocese of Bangor, Farmer, deceased, made by us whose names are here unto subscribed the 1st Day of July in the year of our Lord 1818.
