William Griffith, Soar Llangybi : Will 1857.
I William Griffith of Soar in the Parish of Llangybi in the County of Carnarvon, Farmer being in perfect mind memory and understanding, do hereby make this my last Will and Testament, in manner and form as follows.I give and bequeath unto my daughter Lowry Griffith the whole of my interest in a certain dwelling called Soar in which I now live with all the furniture contained therein or elsewhere.
I give and bequeath unto my son Griffith Griffith the sum of one pound sterling, unto my son Evan Griffith the like sum of one pound sterling, unto my daughter Margaret Jones I give and bequeath the sum of five shillings, unto my daughter Mary Roberts the like sum of five shillings, and unto my daughter Catherine the like sum of five shillings.
All the rest and residue of my personal estate of what kind soever after payment of my just debts and funeral expenses I give and bequeath unto my aforesaid daughter Lowry Griffith and unto my son Hugh Griffith share and share alike, and hereby I nominate constitute and appoint my said daughter Lowry Griffith Sole Executrix of this my last Will and Testament and hereby revoking and making null and void all former Will or Wills made by me.
In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this 7th day of November 1854.

On the fifteenth day of July in the year of our Lord 1857, the above written Will was insinuated proved approved and in common form of Law decreed valid, and Administration granted to the above named Executrix Lowry Griffith, she being first sworn in common form of Law and that the whole of the goods chattels and credits of the said deceased do not amount in value to £100.

The deceased died on the 31st day of January 1857.
Probate granted 15th July 1857.
This is the Will referred to in the Affidavits of William Humphreys sworn before me this fifteenth day of November 1858.

On the 26th day of November 1858 Letters of Administration with the Will of the personal Estate and Effects of William Griffith late of Soar in the Parish of Llangybi in the County of Carnarvon, Farmer deceased left unadministered by Lowry Griffith, Spinster the daughter of the said deceased, the Sole Executrix and one of the Residuary Legatees named in the said Will (since also deceased) were granted to Hugh Griffith of Bronoleu in the Parish of Llanarmon in the County of Carnarvon Labourer the son of the said deceased, the surviving Residuary Legatee named in the said Will, he having been first sworn duly to administer.
William Griffith the Testator was late of Soar in the Parish of Llangybi in the County of Carnarvon Farmer.
Former grant July 1857 under £100.
