Richard Jones, Ynys Careua Llangybi, Farmer : Will 1849.
In the name of God Amen.I Richard Jones of Ynyscareua in the Parish of Llangybi in the County of Carnarvon, Farmer, being in tolerable state of health and of sound mind memory and understanding, praised be Almighty God for the same, do this nineteenth day of May in the year of our Lord, one thousand eight hundred and forty six (1846), make publish and declare this my last Will and Testament in manner and form following, that is to say.
First I give devise and bequeath unto my son Richard Jones of Coedcaedu the sum of fifty pounds.
Also I give devise and bequeath unto my grand son Richard, son of William Jones of Penbryn or Tyddyn y felin fawr the sum of ten pounds.
As to all the rest residue and remainder of my personal estate and effects of what nature kind and quality soever may be or consist of at the time of my decease, I give and bequeath the same and every part thereof unto my daughter Ellinor wife of William Jones of Penbryn or Tyddyn y felin fawr, Sole Executrix of this my last Will and Testament revoking and making void every other Will or Wills heretofore by me made declaring this to be my last Will and Testament. In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal the day and year first above written.
Signed sealed published and declared by the said Testator Richard Jones as and for his last Will and Testament in the presence of us who in his presence at his request and in the presence of each other have subscribed our names as witnesses.

On the twenty ninth day of June in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and forty nine the within written Will was insinuated proved approved and in common form of Law decreed valid and Administration granted to the within named Ellinor Jones, Sole Administratrix and that the said Ellinor Jones was first sworn in common form of Law and that the whole of of the Goods Chattels Effects and Credits of the said deceased Richard Jones do not amount in value to the sum of two hundred pounds
before me William Williams Surrogate.
A true and perfect Inventory of all the Goods Furniture Credits and Effects of the late Richard Jones of Ynyscaria in the Parish of Llangybi in the County of Carnarvon and Diocese of Bangor made by us (gratis) subscribed our names hereto the 22nd day of May 1849.
