John Williams, Glanygors Llangybi, Joiner : Will 1817.

I  John Williams of Glanygors in the Parish of Llangybi in the County of Carnarvon, Joiner, do in the name of God Amen, this eleventh day of August in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and fifteen (1815), make publish and declare my last Will and Testament in manner and form following, viz.

In the first place I give and bequeath unto my son William the sum of one shilling and no more.

Also I and bequeath unto my daughter Catherine the like sum of one shilling and no more.

Also I give and bequeath unto my son Robert the like sum of one shilling and no more.

Also I give and bequeath unto my son John the like sum of one shilling and no more.

Also I give and bequeath unto my son Owen the like sum of one shilling and no more.

Also I give and bequeath unto my son David the sum of one pound and ten shillings.

Also I give and bequeath unto my daughter Margaret the sum of ten shillings.

As to all the rest residue and remainder of my personal estate and effects of what kind nature or quality soever the same may be or consist of at the time of my decease I give and bequeath the same and every part thereof unto and between my beloved wife Margaret Williams and my daughter Jane Jones, spinster on condition that they continue unmarried and not otherwise. And in case either my said beloved wife Margaret Williams or my said daughter Jane Jones do marry, my Will and meaning is that she that shall first marry shall have the sum of ten pounds and no more, and all the rest of my goods and effects to the other of them.

Lastly I nominate constitute and appoint my said beloved wife and my said daughter Jane Jones Joint Executrixes of this my last Will and Testament hereby revoking and making void every other Will or Wills heretofore by me made, declaring this and this only to be my last Will. In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal the day and year first above written.

Signed sealed published and declared by the said Testator John Williams as and for his last Will and Testament in the presence of us who in his presence at his request and in the presence of each other have subscribed our names as witnesses.

On the 21st day of May in the year 1817 the within written Will was insinuated proved approved and in common form of Law decreed valid, and Administration granted to the within named Executrixes Margaret Williams and Jane Jones, they being first sworn in common form of Law, and that the whole of the Goods Chattels and Credits of the said deceased do not amount in value to twenty pounds.

A true and perfect inventory of all and every the goods and chattels and other personal estate and effects of John Williams, late in the Parish of Llangybi in the County of Carnarvon in the Diocese of Bangor, Joiner deceased, made by us whose names are hereunto subscribed, the tenth day of May in the year of our Lord Christ one thousand eight hundred and seventeen.
