William Griffith, Glasfryn Bach Llangybi, Farmer : Will 1847.

In the name of God Amen.
I William Griffith of Glasfryn Bach in the Parish of Llangybi in the County of Carnarvon, Farmer, being sick in body but of sound mind memory and understanding, praised be Almighty God for the same, do this seventeenth day of March, one thousand eight hundred and forty seven (1847) do make publish and declare this my last Will and Testament in manner and form following, that is to say.

First I give and bequeath unto my Niece Catherine, daughter of my sister Ann the sum of Fifteen Pounds. The said legacy is not to be paid to my said Niece Catherine until her attain twenty one years of age or at the time of her marriage.

As to all the rest residue and remainder of my Personal Estate and Effects of what nature and quality soever the same may be or consist of at the time of my decease I give and bequeath the same and every part thereof unto my sister Ann and I do hereby nominate constitute and appoint my said sister Ann Sole Executrix of this my last Will and Testament hereby revoking and making void every other Will or Wills heretofore made by me declaring this and this only to be my last Will and Testament. In witness whereof I have hereunder set my hand and seal the day and year first above written.

Signed sealed published and declared by the said Testator William Griffith as and for his last Will and Testament in the presence of us, who in his presence at his request and in the presence of each other subscribed our names as witnesses.

On the twenty ninth day of September in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and forty seven (1847) the within written Will was insinuated proved approved and in common form of Law decreed valid and Administration granted to the within named Anne Griffith, sister and Sole Executrix, she being first sworn in common form of Law and that the whole of the Goods Chattels Effects and Credits of the said deceased William Griffith do not amount in value to the sum of one hundred pounds.
