Thomas Williams, Mur y cyplau Llangybi, Farmer : Will 1843.

This is the last Will and Testament of me Thomas Williams of Mur y cypplau in the Parish of Llangybi, in the County of Carnarvon, Farmer.

I give and devise all that my messuage farm and lands with the appurtenances situate in the Parish of Llangybi aforesaid called Mur y cypplau and now in my own occupation and all my estate and interest therein to my mother Anne Williams and her assigns for and during the term of her natural life and from and immediately after her decease I give and devise the same and every part thereof to my brothers William Williams and Morris Williams, their heirs and assigns for ever as tenants in common and not as joint tenants.

I give and bequeath to my natural son Richard Thomas now in service at Rhwngyddwyafon in the Parish of Llanfihangel y Pennant in the said County of Carnarvon, the sum of forty pounds which I direct to be paid to him at the expiration of six calendar months next after my decease.

As to all the rest residue and remainder of my personal estate and effects I give and bequeath the same to my said Mother Anne Williams and her assigns for and during the term of her natural life and from and immediately after her decease I give and bequeath the same and every part thereof to my said brothers William Williams and Morris Williams absolutely, share and share alike.

I do hereby nominate constitute and appoint my said Mother Anne Williams Sole Executrix of this my last Will and Testament. In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal the twenty fifth day of August one thousand eight hundred and forty one.

Signed sealed published and declared by the said Thomas Williams the Testator as and for his last Will and Testament in the presence of us who at his request in his presence and in the presence of each other have hereunto subscribed our names as witnesses, the words “Anne Williams” having first been interlined therein.

On the 23rd day of November in the year of our Lord 1843 the above within written Will was insinuated proved approved and in common form of Law decreed valid and Administration granted to the above named Executrix, she being first sworn in common form of Law and that the whole of the Goods Chattels and Credits of the said deceased do not amount in value to £100.

A true and perfect Inventory of the Goods Chattels and Effects of the late Thomas Williams of Murycypla in the Parish of Llangybi in the County of Carnarvon and Diocese of Bangor, Farmer deceased made and appraised by us the undersigned (Gratis) as witness our hands this 23rd day of November 1843.
