Catherine Edward, Capel helig Llangybi, Widow : Will 1817.

In the name of God Amen.
I Cathrine Edward of Capel helig in the Parish of Llangybi and County of Carnarvon, Widow, do make and publish thus my last Will and Testament in manner and form following, that is to say.

I give and bequeath unto my daughter Jane Robert wife of Richard David of Tan y rhiwia the sum of twenty pounds of lawful money and a bed stead (prenia gwelu).

Also I give and bequeath unto my son William Robert the ten pounds which he owes me this ten years ago and likewise the interest for the same.

Also I give and bequeath unto my son John Robert the sum of twenty pounds of lawful money.

And unto Cathrine the daughter of my son John Robert I give and bequeath my cupboard press, my clock and two brass candlesticks.

Also I give and bequeath unto Owen Parry of Capel helig the sum of twenty pounds of lawful money.

Also I give and bequeath unto Cathrine Roberts, wife of Thomas Owen of Gelli Gron the sum of eleven pounds and eleven shillings which she owes me and the interest for the same.

And as for all the rest and residue of my personal estate and effects of which I shall happen to be possessed, I give and bequeath the same and every part thereof after payment of all my just debts and funeral expenses unto Robert Jones of Capel helig in the said Parish of Llangybi, whom I hereby nominate constitute and appoint Sole Executor of this my last Will and Testament, hereby revoking all former Will or Wills by me at any time heretofore made and declare this and this only to be my last Will and Testament. In witness whereof I the said Catherine Edward have hereunto set my hand and seal this twenty fourth day of May 1809.

Signed sealed published and declared by the above named Testatrixof and for her last Will and Testament who have in her presence at her request and in the presence of each other subscribed our names as witnesses thereto.

On the first day of February in the year of our Lord 1817 the within written Will was insinuated proved approved and in common form of Law decreed valid and Administration granted to the within named Executor Robert Jones, he being first sworn in common form of Law, and that the whole of the Goods Chattels and Credits of the said deceased do not amount in value to £100.

Probate granted 6th February 1817.

A true and perfect Inventory of all the Goods Chattels Wares and Merchandises as well moveable as not moveable of Catherine Edward late of the Parish of Llangybi in the County of Carnarvon and Diocese of Bangor, Widow deceased, made by us whose names are hereunto subscribed the 12th day of December 1816.
