William Morris, Monachdy Bach Llangybi, Yeoman : Will 1836.

This is the last Will and Testament of me William Morris of Monachdy Bach in the Parish of Llangybi on the County of Carnarvon, Yeoman.

I do hereby in the first place direct that all my just debts as well those due by specialty as by simple contract, funeral and Testamentary expenses shall be paid by my Executors hereinafter named out of my personal estate.

I give and devise all those my messuages or dwelling houses lands and premises with the Appurtenances situate in the Parish of Abererch in the said County of Carnarvon called and known by the name of Clogwyn and now or late in the several tenures holdings or occupations of Owen Humphrey, Labourer and Jane Prichard, Widow their under tenants or assigns to my dear wife Mary and her assigns for and during the term of her natural life and from and immediately after her decease.

I give and devise the same and every part thereof to my son Morris, his heirs and assigns for ever.

I give and bequeath to my son John the sum of ten pounds which I direct to be paid to him within twelve calendar months next after my decease by my Executors hereinafter named out of my personal estate.

As to all the rest residue and remainder of my Goods Chattels Personal Estate and effects whatsoever which shall remain after payment of my said debts funeral and Testamentary expenses and the aforesaid pecuniary legacy given to my said son John as aforesaid to my said wife Mary, my said son Morris and my daughter Catherine, the wife of John Prichard of Taiforgan in the Parish of Llannor in the said County of Carnarvon, farmer, their Executors Administrators and Assigns, absolutely for ever as tenants in common and not as joint tenants.

And I do hereby nominate constitute and appoint my said wife Mary my said daughter Catherine and my said son Morris Executrixes and Executor of this my Will hereby revoking and making void all former Wills and Testaments by me at any time heretofore made and declare this to be my last Will and Testament. In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal the thirteenth day of February in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and thirty three.

Signed sealed published and declared by the said William Morris the Testator as and for his last Will and Testament in the presence of us who at his request in his presence and in the presence of each other have subscribed our names as witnesses hereto.

On the 26th day of May in the year of our Lord 1836 the above written Will was insinuated proved approved and in common form of Law decreed valid and Administration granted to the above named Mary Morris, Morris Williams and Catherine Prichard, Joinr Executors, they being first sworn in common form of Law and that the whole of the Goods Chattels and Credits of the said deceased do not amount in value to the sum of one hundred pounds.
