William Prichard, Tyddyn Uchaf Llangybi, Gent : Will 1827.
In the name of God Amen.I William Prichard of Tyddyn Uchaf in the Parish of Llangybi in the County of Carnarvon, Gentleman, being sick and weak in body, but of sound mind, memory and understanding, praised be Almighty God for the same, do this twenty third day of February in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and twenty seven (1827), make publish and declare this my last Will and Testament in manner and form following, viz.
First, I give devise and bequeath unto my brother Thomas Prichard and to his heirs for ever all that Tenement, Lands, House and every Appurtenances thereto belonging commonly called and known by the names of Hendre bach and Tai-newyddion, situate, lying and being in the Parish of Llangybi in the County of Carnarvon.
Also I give and bequeath unto my sister Catherine the sum of one hundred pounds. I give devise and bequeath unto Anne Prichard daughter of my Nephew Richard Thomas and to her heirs for ever all those Tenements Lands Houses and every Appurtenances thereunto belonging called Talsarn, situate in Garn Dolbenmaen in the County of Carnarvon.
Also I give devise and bequeath unto the said Anne Prichard daughter of my Nephew Richard Thomas all that Tenement and Lands called Castell caeronw, and to her heirs for ever, situate in the Parish of Llandwrog in the said County of Carnarvon.
Also I give and bequeath unto my Nephew John Thomas, son of my brother Thomas Prichard the sum of twenty pounds.
Also I give and bequeath unto such of the children of my above named Nephew John Thomas as shall be living at the time of my decease, the sum of one hundred pounds to be equally divided between them, share and share alike.
Also I give and bequeath unto my Niece Catherine, daughter of my brother Thomas Prichard the sum of twenty pounds.
Also I give and bequeath unto my Niece Anne, daughter of my said brother Thomas Prichard the like sum of twenty pounds.
Also I give and bequeath unto my Niece Ellin, daughter of my said brother Thomas the like sum of twenty pounds.
Also I give and bequeath unto my Niece Jane, daughter of my said brother Thomas Prichard the like sum of twenty pounds.
Also I give and bequeath unto my Niece Elizabeth, daughter of my said brother Thomas Prichard the like sum of twenty pounds.
Also I give and bequeath unto my brother Richard Williams the sum of five pounds a year during his life to be paid every three months by my Executor, the first payment of twenty five shillings to be made in three calendar months after my decease.
Also I charge my Executor with keeping my said brother Richard Prichard alias Williams in meat drink and lodgings free from all expenses during the term of his natural life.
Also I give and bequeath unto Elizabeth, wife of John Prichard late of Scubor newydd the sum of five pounds.
Also I give and bequeath unto the servant maid that shall be in my service at the time of my decease the sum of five pounds.
And subject to the payment of the above legacies and for keeping of my said brother Richard Williams as aforesaid during the term of his natural life, I give and bequeath all my personal estate and effects of what nature kind or quality soever the same may be or consist of at the time of my decease unto my Nephew Richard Thomas now living with me.
And I hereby nominate constitute and appoint my said Nephew Richard Thomas Sole Executor of this my last Will and Testament, hereby revoking and making void every other Will or Wills heretofore by me made, declaring this and this only to be my last Will. In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal the day and year first before written.
Signed sealed published and declared by the said Testator William Prichard as and for his last Will and Testament in the presence of us who in his presence at his request and in the presence of each other have subscribed our names as witnesses.

On the first day of June in the year of our Lord 1827, the within written Will was insinuated proved approved and in common form of Law decreed valid and Administration granted to the within named Richard Thomas, Sole Executor, he being first sworn in common form of law, and that the whole of the Goods, Chattels and Credits of the said deceased do not amount to the sum of £600.
