Rowland Prichard, Caerferch Llangybi : Will 1826.
In the name of God Amen.I Rowland Prichard of Caerferch is : considering the uncertainty of this mortal life and being in sound and perfect mind and memory do make and publish this my last Will and Testament in manner and form following (that is to say).
I give and bequeath to my dear beloved wife Catherine Davies or Prichearts, and to Thomas Rowlands my eldest son, being born a bastard child, and to my second son Richeart Rowlands, and to my third son David Rowlands, all my goods and chattels, household goods or furniture and farm stock of any part. I do hereby make and setled the four as I named them personally one after another (that is to say) my dear wife and my three sons to be jointed Co Executors of all my personal goods and chattels of what kind or nature soever it be household goods and farm stock of my part as I said.
Whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal the thirty first day of January in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and twenty six.
Signed and sealed published by the above Rowland Prichearts to be his last Will and Testament in the presence of us who have hereunto subscribed our names as witnesses in the presence of the Testator.

On the 10th day of May in the year of our Lord 1826 the within written Will was insinuated proved approved and Administration granted to the within named Executrix being minors / she being first sworn in common form of Law, and that the whole of the Goods Chattels and Credits of the said deceased do not amount in value to £100.
