William Davies, Nyth y Driw Llangybi, Labourer : Will 1821.
In the name of God Amen.I William Davies of Nyth y Driw in the Parish of Llangybi in the County of Carnarvon, do make and publish this my last Will and Testament in manner and form following (that is to say).
I give and bequeath unto my son William Williams the sum of one shilling and no more if he alive.
I do also give and bequeath unto my son Richard Williams the sum of one shilling and no more.
I do also give and bequeath unto my son John Williams the sum of one shilling and no more.
I do also give and bequeath unto my son Owen Williams the sum of one shilling and no more.
I do also give and bequeath unto my only daughter Elizabeth Williams the sum of one shilling and her home as before but no more.
I do also give and bequeath unto my beloved son Robert Williams the sum of ten pounds.
And lastly as to all the rest residue and remainder of my personal estate goods and chattels of what kind or manner soever, I give and bequeath the same to my beloved wife Ellin Jones and her I hereby appoint Sole Executrix of this my last Will and Testament for her life and the rest of the goods to my said son Robert Williams after the decease of the said Ellin Jones and if the said Ellin Jones marry nothing to her but bed and clothes and the said goods and chattels of what kind unto my said son Robert Williams (as to Executor of this my last Will and Testament). In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal the eleventh day of January in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and twenty one.

On the thirteenth day of May in the year of our Lord 1821 the within written Will was insinuated proved approved and in common form of Law decreed valid and Administration granted to the within named Executrix Ellin Jones, she being sworn in common form of Law, and that the whole of the Goods Chattels and Credits of the said deceased do not amount in value to £100.
