Anne Roberts, Ty Croes Llangybi, Widow : Will 1811.
In the name of God Amen. I Anne Roberts of Ty Croes in the Parish of Llangybi in the County of Carnarvon, Widow, being of sound mind memory and understanding do hereby make publish and declare this my last Will and Testament in writing in manner and form following (that is to say).First I order and direct that all my just debts, funerla expenses and the costs of the probate and Execution of this my Will be fully paid satisfied and discharged by my Executor hereinafter named.
Item. I give and bequeath unto my son William Jones and Robert Prichard of Bettws Bach in the Parish of Llanystumdwy in the County of Carnarvon aforesaid, Farmer and to their Executors and Administrators the sum of Two Hundred and Fifty Pounds. Upon the Trusts Nevertheless and to and for the several uses intents and purposes herinafter expressed and declared of and concerning the same (that is to say). Upon Trust and Confidence that they the said William Jones and Robert Prichard shall and will immediately after my decease put and place the said sum of Two hundred and fifty pounds out at Interest upon good landed or other security and that they my said Trustees do and shall pay and apply the Interest there from to and towards the maintenance of my daughter Jonet Jones annually during her natural life.
And my further will and meaning is that my said Trustees shall and will with all convenient speed after the decease of my said daughter Jonet take up the said sum of two hundred and fifty pounds hereinafter by me directed to be put and placed out at interest as aforesaid and thereout and there from pay and discharge the several Legacies and bequests hereinafter by me bequeathed given and devised (that is to say).
I give bequeath and devise to my son Robert Griffith the sum of five pounds to be paid to him by my said Trustees out of the said sum of two hundred and fifty pounds as soon as conveniently after the decease of my said daughter Jonet in case my said son Robert Griffith shall survive her and in default thereof I order that my said Trustees shall and will pay the said sum of five pounds unto and amongst each child or children of my said son Robert Griffith as shall be living at the time of the decease of my said daughter Jonet (lawfully issuing), share and share alike.
Item. I give and bequeath to each of my grandsons Griffith Williams and Robert Williams and to my grand daughter Anne Williams (sons and daughter of my daughter Jane Griffith late of Drwsydeugoed deceased by William Roberts her husband) the sum of five pounds to be paid to them respectively by my said Trustees out of the said sum of two hundred and fifty pounds as soon as conveniently after the decease of my said daughter Jonet as aforesaid and in case either of my said two grandsons or my said grand daughter shall happen to die before my said daughter Jonet, then I give and bequeath the same to the survivor or survivors of my said grandsons or grand daughter to be equally divided between them (in case there shall be more than one of them then being) share and share alike but in case neither of my said grandsons Griffith Williams and Robert Williams or my said grand daughter Anne Williams shall happen to survive my said daughter Jonet then I give and bequeath the same and every part thereof unto my Executor hereinafter named and to his Heirs Executors and Administrators.
And also all the rest residue and remainder of the said sum of two hundred and fifty pounds after payment and satisfaction of all and singular the Legacies by me hereinbefore given and bequeathed, I give and devise the same and every part thereof unto my said son William Jones and my son John Jones and to my daughter Catherine Jones, now the wife of Robert Prichard of Bettws Bach aforesaid to be equally divided between them, share and share alike and to their heirs and assigns for ever.
And I do hereby nominate and appoint my said son William Jones Sole Executor of this my last Will and Testament, hereby revoking all other Will or Wills by me at any time heretofore made and declare this to be my last Will and Testament. In witness whereof I the said Anne Roberts the Testatrix have to this Will contained in two brief sheets of paper to the first sheet thereof set and subscribed my mark and to the second and last sheet thereof set my hand and seal this eighth day of December in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and seven.
Signed sealed published and declared by the said Testatrix Anne Roberts as and for her last Will and Testament in the presence of us who in her presence at her request and in the presence of each other have hereunto set and subscribed our names as witnesses to the due Execution thereof.

On the 23rd day of July in the year of our Lord 1810 the within written Will was insinuated proved approved and in common form of Law decreed valid and Administration granted to the within named William Jones the Executor of the within named Anne Roberts deceased, he being first sworn in common form of Law, and that the whole of the Goods Chattels and Credits of the said deceased do not amount in value to £300.

A true and perfect Inventory of all the Goods Chattels Wares and Merchandises, as well moveable as not moveable of Anne Roberts late of Ty Croes in the Parish of Llangybi, County of Carnarvon and Diocese of Bangor, Widow deceased, made by us whose names are hereunto subscribed the 14th day of July in the year of our Lord 1810.
