Robert Roberts, Pentyrch Isa Llangybi, Yeoman : Will 1808.

In the name of God Amen.
I Robert Roberts of Pentyrch Isa in the Parish of Llangybi in the County of Carnarvon, being of sound mind memory and understanding, blessed be God, but considering the uncertainty of this transitory life do make ordain publish and declare this to be my last Will and Testament in manner and form following, that is to say.

First I give and bequeath my sister Grace Roberts the sum of thirty five pounds.

Also I give and bequeath unto my sister Anne Roberts the sum of thirty five pounds.

Also I give and bequeath unto my Niece Phoeby Roberts, wife of John Parry Llanystumdwy the sum of thirty five pounds.

Also I give and bequeath unto my Nephew Robert Jones son of my brother John Roberts the sum of forty pounds and my clock.

Also I give and bequeath unto my Niece Jane Jones daughter of my brother John Roberts the sum of forty pounds and my Copper Press?, my chairs and my Bible.

Also I give and bequeath unto my Niece Jane, wife of John Morgan of Ystrad a note of hand value twenty seven pounds which my brother Owen Robert being her father owes me, this 9 or 10 years ago.

Also I give and bequeath unto my Nephew Robert Griffith of Tynrhos a chest which is in the outhouse.

And all the rest and residue of my personal estate whatsoever and where soever and of what nature kind and quality soever the same may be and not herein before given and disposed of after payment of my debts legacies and funeral expenses I give and bequeath unto Isaac Morris of Pentyrch isa whom I do hereby nominate constitute and appoint Sole Executor of this my last Will and Testament hereby revoking all former Will or Wills by me at anytime heretofore made and declare this only to be my last. In witness whereof I the said Robert Roberts have hereunto set my hand and seal this eighteenth day of February one thousand eight hundred and eight.

Signed sealed published and declared by the said Testator Robert Roberts and for his last Will and Testament in the presence of Robert Owen Llangybi Owen Ellis Llwyn helig On the ninth day of March in the year of our Lord 1808 the above or within written Will was insinuated proved approved and in common form of Law decreed valid and Administration granted to the above or within named Executor Isaac Morris, he being first sworn in common form of Law and that the whole of the Goods Chattels and Credits of the said deceased do not amount in value to three hundred pounds (£300).

A true and perfect Inventory of all the Goods Chattels Wares and Merchandises as well moveable as not moveable of Robert Roberts late of Pentyrch Isa in the Parish of Llangybi and County of Carnarvon, Yeoman deceased made by us whose names are hereunto subscribed the 8th day of March 1808.
