Joned Parry, Pentyrch Ucha Llangybi, Widow : Will 1803.

In the name of God Amen.
I Joned Parry of Pentyrch Ucha in the Parish of Llangybi and County of Carnarvon, Widow, being of perfect mind memory and understanding do hereby make this my last Will and Testament in manner and form following.

First I give and bequeath unto my daughter Jane the sum of eight pounds.

Also I give and bequeath unto my daughter Anne the sum of ten pounds.

Also I give and bequeath unto my daughter Mary the sum of two pounds and eighteen shillings. Also I give and bequeath unto my daughter Joned the sum of four pounds.

Also I give and bequeath unto my grand children William Jones, Catherine Jones, Jane Jones and John Williams, the children of my late son John Williams deceased the sum of forty pounds, share and share alike.

And my Will and meaning is and I do hereby order and direct my Executor hereinafter named to pay each of my said grand children his or her share respective share of the said legacy or sum of forty pounds successively one after another as they shall attain the age of twenty one years, or otherwise married, the first that shall happen, and in case any one of my said grand children should happen to die before he attains the age of twenty one years or otherwise married then in such case I order and direct that his share so dying shall be equally divided amongst his surviving brethren - and my Will and meaning is that the said sum of forty pounds shall be laid out at interest for the use and benefit of the children of my daughter Martha.

Lastly I give and bequeath all the rest and residue of any personal estate whatsoever and where soever and what nature kind and quality soever the same may be unto my son in law John Williams of Pentyrch Ucha, whom I constitute and appoint Sole Executor of this my last Will and Testament. In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this twenty second day of February in the year 1803.

Signed sealed and declared by the said Joned Parry as and for her last Will and Testament in the presence of us who have hereunto subscribed our names as witnesses thereunto in the presence of the said Testatrix and in the presence of each other.

On the fourth day of April in the year of our Lord 1803 the within written Will was insinuated proved approved and in common form of Law decreed valid and Administration granted to the within named Executor John Williams, he being first sworn in common form of Law and that the whole of the Goods Chattels and Credits of the said deceased do not amount in value to £100.
