Elizabeth Owen, Llangybi Village, Widow : Will 1794.
In the name of God Amen. I Elizabeth Owen of the Parish of Llangybi and County of Carnarvon, Widow, being of sound mind memory and understanding thanks be to God for the same do make this my last Will and Testament.That is to say, principally and first of all I give and recommend my soul to Almighty God that gave it and my body to the Earth to be decently buried, in a Christian like manner. And as touching my worldly estate and effects I give and devise as followeth.
I give and bequeath to my grandson Samuel Humphrey, son to my son Evan Humphreys by his now present wife Mary Humphreys and his heirs, the whole of my personal estate goods and effects after my just debts and funeral expenses are paid provisional that my own son Evan Humphreys and his now present wife Mary Humphreys hath for their lives the free use and possession of the said my estate goods and effects.
And I also constitute and appoint Robert Jones of the Parish of Llangybi and County of Carnarvon Yeoman and John Jones of the Parish of Gresford and County of Denbigh Yeoman, Executors in trust of this my last Will and I utterly disallow revoke and disannul all other Wills and Legacies by me made and confirming this and no other to be my last Will and Testament.
In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this seventh day of February one thousand seven hundred and ninety three.

On the eighth day of May in the year of our Lord 1794 the within written Will was insinuated proved approved and in common form of Law decreed valid and Administration granted to Robert Jones of the Parish of Llangybi, one of the Executors within named and appointed, he being first personally sworn on the Holy Evangelists as the Law directs by me

On the 24th day of July 1794 probate of this Will was granted to Robert Jones one of the Executors named in the said Will having been first sworn duly to Administer (power reserved of making the like grant to John Jones the other Executor named in the said Will when he shall apply the same).
