Richard Williams, Tyddyn Ucha Llangybi, Yeoman : Will 1770.
In the name of God Amen.I Richard Williams of Tyddyn Ucha in the Parish of Llangybi in the County of Carnarvon and Diocese of Bangor, Yeoman, being mindful of my mortality and considering the certainty of death and being of sound sane and perfect mind memory and understanding (praised be God) do make ordain publish and declare this last Will and Testament in manner and form following (that is to say).
First I give and bequeath unto my daughter Elizabeth the wife of William Ellis of the Parish of Myllteyrn in the said County, Labourer the sum of five shillings of good and lawful money of Great Britain.
Also I give and bequeath unto my daughter Jane the wife of Robert Roberts of ? in the said County, Yeoman the sum of two shillings and six pence of lawful money.
Also I give and bequeath unto my daughter ? Prichard, Spinster her choice of cows and also my bedstead with wooden bottom now standing and being in the bed chamber ? usually lye at Tyddyn Ucha aforesaid together with all and every other? clothes commonly used in and upon the bedstead aforesaid ad ?
And lastly all the rest residue and remainder of my Goods Chattels and Personal Estate of what kind degree nature or quality soever the same shall happen to be or to consist of at the time of my decease I give and bequeath the same unto my beloved wife Anne Roberts and I do hereby nominate constitute and appoint her my said wife Anne Roberts Sole Executor of this my last Will and Testament.
And I do hereby revoke and make void all former Wills and Testaments by me at any time heretofore made and do hereby publish and declare this and this only for and as my last Will and Testament. In witness whereof I the said Testator Richard Williams have to this my last Will and Testament set my hand and seal this tenth? day of February in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and sixty three.
Signed sealed published and declared by the said Testator Richard Williams for and as his last Will and Testament (the word ALL being first interlined) in the presence of us who in his presence and at his request have subscribed our names as witnesses hereunto.
