Griffith Pritchard, Penybryn,Thomas Jones, Llangybi : Will 1765.

In the name of God Amen.

I Griffith Pritchard of Penybryn in the Parish of Llangyby in the County of Carnarvon in the Diocese of Bangor, being sick in body but of a sound and perfect mind and memory, blessed be God for all his mercy : Do make publish and declare my last Will and Testament as followeth recommending my soul into the hands of the Almighty God hoping to be saved through the intercession of Jesus Christ my mediator my body to be buried in Christian burial at the discretion of my Executrix herein after named.

First I give and bequeath unto my son Owen Griffith a shilling.

Also I give and bequeath unto my son Richard Griffith a shilling.

Also I give and bequeath unto my son Maurice Griffith a shilling.

Also I give and bequeath unto my son William Griffith a shilling.

Also I give and bequeath unto my son Robert Griffith a shilling. Also I give and bequeath unto my daughter Catherine Griffith a shilling.

Also I give and bequeath unto my daughter Ellin Griffith a shilling.

Also I give and bequeath unto my daughter Maudlan Griffith a shilling.

As touching and concerning the rest and residue of my goods and effects I give and bequeath unto my wife Jonett Owen whom I nominate and appoint Sole Executrix of this my last Will and Testament, revoking and making void all former Wills by me made this 21st day of nay 1760.

Signed sealed published and declared in the presence of the subscribers who at my request set their names as witnesses hereto.

April 25th 1765. The within written Will was insinuated proved and approved and decreed valid in common form of Law and Administration granted to the Executrix therein named, she being first personally sworn as the Law directs, everyone's rights being saved and reserved before me.
