Thomas Jones, Llangybi, : Will 1765.
In the name of God Amen.I Thomas Jones of the Parish of Llangybi in the County of Carnarvon do make and ordain this my last Will and Testament though in sickness yet in sound memory knowing it is appointed for all to die therefore I recommend my soul to the hands of God that gave it and my body to be buried by my wife's side at ye Church of Llangyby. But for as touching my worldly estatewhere with it hath pleased God to bless me in this life therefore I make and ordain this my last Will and Testament in following manner and form.
First I give and bequeath to Gruffudd my son seven pounds.
Also I give and bequeath to Martha my daughter two pounds.
Also I give and bequeath to my daughter Catherine ten pounds and the best brass pan.
Also I give and bequeath to Grace my daughter ten pounds and bed full of clothes and two best pewter dishes.
Also I give and bequeath to my daughter Cathrine again bed full of clothes.
Also I give and bequeath to John my son all the rest and residue of all my singular goods and cattles and credits and personal estate whatsoever and do hereby constitute and appoint him to be my Executor of this my last Will and Testament. In testimony hereof I do set my hand and seal this fifth day of July in the year of our Lord 1764.
Signed sealed and published in the presence of Robert William Richard Rowland May 11th 1765.
The within written Will was insinuated proved approved and decreed valid in common form of Law and Administration granted to the Executor therein named. He being first personally sworn as the law directs, everyone's right being saved and preserved before me.
