Robert Thomas, Pentyrch Issa Llangybi, Farmer : Will 1756.

In the name of God Amen.
I Robert Thomas of Pentyrch Issa in the Parish of Llangybi being infirm and aged, but of perfect sense and memory do make this my last Will and Testament as follows.

First I give and bequeath to my daughter Elisabeth five shillings.

Also I give to my daughter Catherine five pounds.

Also I give and bequeath to my daughter Grace five shillings.

All the rest and residue of my Goods and Chattels of what kind soever they be I give and bequeath to my beloved wife Jane Jones, whom I constitute and appoint Sole Executrix of this my last Will, beseeching her to give to those of my children that are not herein mentioned according as they shall behave towards her, and I do hereby revoke and annul all other Wills heretofore by me made and in witness that this is my last Will and Testament. I do hereby set my hand and seal October 20th 1753.

Signed sealed published as the Testators last in the presence of Owen Jones Hugh Jones On the third day of May 1756 the within written Will was insinuated proved approved and decreed valid in common form of Law and Administration of the Goods and Chattels of Robert Thomas of Pentyrch Issa in the Parish of Llangybi in the County of Carnarvon and Diocese of Bangor granted to Jane Jones the within named Executrix, she being first personally sworn as the Law directs (everyone's right being saved and reserved)
before me John Hughes Surrogate

A true and perfect Inventory of the Goods and Chattels of Robert Thomas late of Pentyrch Issa in the Parish of Llangybi in the County of Carnarvon and Diocese of Bangor taken this 21st day of April 1756.
